Jacek Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Chuchro saved Hell Rats ☠️ from getting behind. After 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hell Rats ☠️'s Jacek Chuchro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jacek Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Chuchro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hell Rats ☠️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Chuchro having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Hell Rats ☠️'s Glenn Risnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Chuchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Edvard Munch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paes in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Válbson Paes scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hell Rats ☠️'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacek Chuchro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacek Chuchro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacek Chuchro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Risnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Hell Rats ☠️'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacek Chuchro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute Edvard Munch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jacek Chuchro in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jacek Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Sebastián Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sebastián Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Edvard Munch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jacek Chuchro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacek Chuchro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 94 minutes Hell Rats ☠️'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacek Chuchro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
