Igor Koperski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Chile booed when Tornado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Bochinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Konrad Bochinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tornado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. A collision led to Tornado getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Konrad Bochinski hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Tornado's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Igor Koperski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Milosz Skirzynski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thiago Pliego, passed just outside the right post. 22 minutes into the game, Tytus Olejniczak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Pedro Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Lato, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Milosz Skirzynski sent off a good shot on target. Igor Koperski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Skirzynski came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szymon Dzerwucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save.

Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Tornado's Radomir Lato. But to his dismay, Radomir Lato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 56th minute, Konrad Bochinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tornado's Teofil Frodyma was substituted for Sebastian Dylla. After a rather tough play, Tornado's Konrad Bochinski got a free kick in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Koperski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Indiano's late challenge caught a Tornado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Indiano helped the player get up and apologised. 70 minutes into the game, one of Chile:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute Milosz Skirzynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Milosz Skirzynski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tornado booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Chile's Orlando Casaus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Koperski. Igor Koperski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 98 minutes into the match, Tornado's Milosz Skirzynski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Chile players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
