The corner ended in Adriano de Brito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Varela could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. 16 minutes into the game, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Sydney Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Inácio Bueno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Inácio Bueno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Inácio Bueno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Emerson Leão had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 38th minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Luiz Bizet got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gustavo Gómez got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sydney Quirino. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting a goal against them. Dan Petrescu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Emerson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 77th minute. Matías Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Enrique do Vale was substituted for Adriano de Brito. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Nilmar Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Leão. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
