No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The goalkeeper, Iulian Nisipeanu, was totally fooled by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 91 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iulian Nisipeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Aaron Alcocer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iulian Nisipeanu quite easily take care of the ball. Ferdinand Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
