Zé Paulo Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 10 minutes into the game, Thomas Vollmar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Thomas Vollmar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 21 in the game by Thomas Vollmar from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 40th minute of play. Newcastle United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Paulo Zonta in the 41st minute. Newcastle United's Zé Paulo Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Vollmar. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After 54 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Adam Pacholewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Adam Pacholewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Newcastle United fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Newcastle United's Filip Orling was substituted for Julian Obuchowicz. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Newcastle United's Zé Paulo Zonta in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the referee ended the match the Newcastle United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
