When Jan-Olof Jelm fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Kalev Pärnu's protests and gave Jan-Olof Jelm a yellow card for diving instead. Philipp Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Mustafa Hakan Dursunali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Hakan Dursunali kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jose Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Ternes having to interfere. Härmo Aader hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes SK Kalev Pärnu got a freekick which was hit by Rauno Haab. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rauno Haab came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Philipp Ternes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauno Haab in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zlatan Videlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 30 in the game by Rauno Haab from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Rauno Haabs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SK Kalev Pärnu's Zlatan Videlov got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Videlov in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauno Haab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Rauno Haab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauno Haab in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philipp Ternes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Mustafa Hakan Dursunali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Philipp Ternes. That made the score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Kalev Pärnu's Philipp Ternes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philipp Ternes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rauno Haab came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauno Haab in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that SK Kalev Pärnu were the better team. SK Kalev Pärnu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
