Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Sotomayor came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Matej Bohuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 26 in the game by Henrich Jánošík from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Iván Sotomayor scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Matej Bohuš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Smolenice's goalkeeper Matej Bohuš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Smolenice getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Daniel Turek hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Róbert Ujlacký sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matej Bohuš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Iván Sotomayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iván Sotomayor to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Smolenice booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Ujlacký in the 54th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lixandro in the 55th minute of play. If Michal Pachl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Iván Sotomayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Sotomayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Widodo 吕布 kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Pachl in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Widodo 吕布 fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Smolenice's protests and gave Widodo 吕布 a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Sotomayor in the 78th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Henrich Jánošík managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Smolenice's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrich Jánošík was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Matej Bohuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Jonas Ekelund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. FC Smolenice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
