Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iván Sotomayor got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Smolenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matej Bohuš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matej Bohuš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iván Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Smolenice's Matej Bohuš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Sotomayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Iván Sotomayor tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Smolenice getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Karel Jabůrek hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes FC Smolenice got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Riapoš.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Matej Bohuš in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rdth minute of the game Iván Sotomayor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Smolenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Ujlacký didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matej Bohuš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after FC Smolenice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 71st minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Bohuš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Smolenice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, FC Smolenice's Daniel Turek got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, FC Smolenice's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Matej Bohuš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Turek's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Turek helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho suffered a concussion in the 79th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakub Riapoš during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes FC Smolenice got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Riapoš. Matej Bohuš made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Diego Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Smolenice's Matej Bohuš got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Mancebo in the 88th minute of play forced FC Smolenice's goalkeeper Matej Bohuš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
