Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Ciriaco Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savon Palloseura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Ferrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lasse Saarelainen. Savon Palloseura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aatu Sivonen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Savon Palloseura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Ciriaco Ferrando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Valdemar Kallio sent off a good shot on target. If Markus Pakaslahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Lasse Saarelainen. Savon Palloseura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ciriaco Ferrando's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Savon Palloseura getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ciriaco Ferrando hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Valdemar Kallio made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Lasse Saarelainen in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cris Romero during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Savon Palloseura:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. In the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lasse Saarelainen. The goal made the score 0-4. 70 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lasse Saarelainen. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Lasse Saarelainen made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Savon Palloseura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen did a great save. Luis Andino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Lasse Saarelainen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Savon Palloseura defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lasse Saarelainen. The Savon Palloseura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lasse Saarelainen should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Lasse Saarelainen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Kallio during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
