After a rather tough play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Henrique Velloso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of the match. Sebastian Mino charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Mino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Mino to maneuver through the defense. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Bruno Moneda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Moneda might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Moneda ran back to his position shaking his head.

Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Franquis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Tristan Franquis in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Bruno Moneda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Cores in the 88th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Moneda in the 89th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Moneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Silvio Rainerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
