A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bertie Johnson hit a great ball. Curacao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Janne Töpperwien 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Janne Töpperwien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rami Miinalainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Daniel Heinikangas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karhulan Veikot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Janne Töpperwien scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 5-0. Bertie Johnson made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rocco Owen. Janne Töpperwien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janne Töpperwien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janne Töpperwien was the one to do the kick off. Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bertie Johnson in the 51 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Janne Töpperwien made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Janne Töpperwien went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's István Vida broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Kyle Davies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 79th minute, István Vida made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Janne Töpperwien put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. 91 minutes into the game, Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. Janne Töpperwien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Daniel Heinikangas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Daniel Heinikangas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Karhulan Veikot were the better team. Karhulan Veikot's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
