Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cveto Novinec came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cveto Novinec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Markomichalis got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute of the match, Manos Labrou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Labrou in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cveto Novinec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Correa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Wasyl Okropny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Mantu in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Orlando Sasoin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 40th minute, Orlando Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Cveto Novinec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Minas Markomichalis made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Minas Markomichalis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cveto Novinec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 63rd match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Istok Marinč got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eren Vezir to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cveto Novinec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Minas Markomichalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Okropny came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Koper's Minas Markomichalis in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Koper had controlled the match.
