Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Luiz Faria struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sconvols United. Mădălin Nicolau kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Sconvols United's Luiz Faria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sconvols United's Luiz Faria. But to his dismay, Luiz Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Faria got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shingo Aoi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shingo Aoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Shingo Aoi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Sainz's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Sainz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Faria in the 57th minute of play. During the 60th minute of the match Shingo Aoi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Shingo Aoi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shingo Aoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Di Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 71st minute of play forced Sconvols United's goalkeeper Angelo Di Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Di Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 71st minute of the match. Willian Siqueira's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Sconvols United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
