Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Atletico Kankero getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Attilio Marchesani hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Comunardo Marsili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Carrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Atletico Kankero's Beppe Faiella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Urbani in the 14th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Ferri, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Amos Urbani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Kankero's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Urbani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Kankero's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Marsili came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Beppe Faiella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Urbani came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Comunardo Marsili was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Amos Urbani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fedele Pedroni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Urbani in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to Atletico Kankero getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Attilio Marchesani hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Comunardo Marsili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Faiella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Fedele Pedroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Kankero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Pedroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atletico Kankero made a substitution. Ciro Schirru replaced Ercole Munno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Ferri in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Kankero the free kick. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Urbani in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Carrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Atletico Kankero's Beppe Faiella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There was no doubt that Atletico Kankero were the better team. Atletico Kankero's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
