Washington Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Matias Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek got a freekick which was hit by Edward Cranenburgh. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelebi Tublek in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Dean Rutgeerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roque Aguilar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Sporting Westmeerbeek's Roque Aguilar in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 47th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Matias Dimo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristian Sancho sped through Sporting Westmeerbeek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matias Dimo. In the 60th minute, Roque Aguilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Matias Dimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Dimo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Arias. After 79 minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo did a great save. In the 81st match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luck Hodson to maneuver through the defense. Dean Rutgeerts kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Dimo. That made the score 1-2 after 88 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Anselius came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Westmeerbeek throughout the match.
