After 23 played minutes FK Řitka got a freekick which was hit by Margus Paulus. In the 27th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 41 played minutes FK Řitka got a freekick which was hit by Margus Paulus. 42 minutes into the match, FK Řitka's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Cleto Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslav Pernický scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miroslav Pernický made the kick off in the second half. FK Řitka's Luo Yan Hai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 81 minute of the game. Cleto Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, FK Řitka's Miroslav Pernický nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. In the 90th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleto Peyo. Cleto Peyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
