Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Ulrik Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Hölö Mörkö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Fågel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 9th minute Mikael Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Onea in the 14th minute. Bengt-Åke Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Mikael Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Hölö Mörkö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bengt-Åke Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 29th play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bengt-Åke Fågel and just under the crossbar into goal. After 37 played minutes Hölö Mörkö IF got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Säf. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Ahlström in the 40th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bengt-Åke Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Åke Fågel. Hölö Mörkö IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Hölö Mörkö IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Hölö Mörkö IF's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Åke Fågel came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Ahlström scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bengt-Åke Fågel could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Hölö Mörkö IF defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Fågel. The Hölö Mörkö IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Åke Fågel should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Ulrik Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Fågel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bengt-Åke Fågel. The goal made the score 1-7. If Richard Almkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
