The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Ahlström made a kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Hölö Mörkö IF's Linus Berglund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hölö Mörkö IF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Åke Fågel came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Richard Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hölö Mörkö IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Almkvist couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Richard Almkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Hölö Mörkö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Åke Fågel made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Almkvist in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Hölö Mörkö IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hölö Mörkö IF had played much better football throughout.
