After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Vulpescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8Platonest's Cazimir Mârzac got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso de la Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso de la Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Babarada in the 9th minute of the match. Gheorghe Vulpescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 13th minute of play forced 8Platonest's goalkeeper Gheorghe Vulpescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Joshua Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nistor Enciu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Mihnea Lupoaia charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Lupoaia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, Alfonso de la Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Vulpescu. 8Platonest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso de la Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Istodor's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Istodor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Marius Istodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Vulpescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Babarada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Babarada in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Babarada to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Eduardo Fontirroig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gheorghe Vulpescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 84th minute, Bolivia's Julio Chicote dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Babarada in the 90th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Benito Madrid. In the 95th minute of the match Cătălin Roșeanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolivia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
