FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 2nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Matysek was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 5th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witomir Zworski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Jan Olisadebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 17th minute of the match. Adam Matysek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Olisadebe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 38th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40th minute, Iggi Kot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gdansk36 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Cyprian Rekowski sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyprian Rekowski made a kick off. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute Iggi Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iggi Kot went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iggi Kot to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Rekowski in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. FC Gdansk36's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Gdansk36 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
