Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Santiago started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Santiago in the 3rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gomez Urrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gomez Urrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Julian Murillo scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gomez Urrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rdth minute of the game Luz Tejedor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvenir's Gomez Urrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Karmel lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Porvenir:s Gomez Urrea showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. Efraim Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efraim Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suscal Calleja, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Porvenir's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urko Villaluenga in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Urrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Porvenir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. De-la-Cruz Echague hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gomez Urrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Urko Villaluenga in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Porvenir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Gomez Urrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suscal Calleja to maneuver through the defense. Suscal Calleja kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gomez Urrea, 0-7. Gomez Urrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 81st minute. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Gomez Urrea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ettore Ricci hit a great ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Ettore Ricci hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gomez Urrea could save by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
