The audience thought a goal was coming when 夏天 杨坚 got free with Dante Lacasa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, 夏天 杨坚 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Emilian Zdraşcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Agustín Di Paolo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Claudio Paul's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Paul helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Paul. In the 29th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Zdraşcu skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Verzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Emilian Zdraşcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Emilian Zdraşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 夏天 杨坚 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Zlatan Run kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Claudio Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Emilian Zdraşcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Agustín Di Paolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Di Paolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Emilian Zdraşcu got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Di Paolo in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mai Ang Xi who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Tudor Verzea managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Emilian Zdraşcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 86th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Di Paolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatan Run didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
