In the 13thth minute of the game Oliver Machek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute of the match ⚽Aston Punat⚽ got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalibor Král ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of ⚽Aston Punat⚽ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute of the match, Erenay Gazel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tue Chytka. Tue Chytka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tue Chytka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Machek in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tue Chytka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tue Chytka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ⚽Aston Punat⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Machek in the 54th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tue Chytka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Tue Chytka came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 80 played minutes ⚽Aston Punat⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Erenay Gazel. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Machek, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s goalkeeper Tue Chytka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Erenay Gazel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Machek in the 93rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tue Chytka having to interfere. The ⚽Aston Punat⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
