Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Costel Ţintă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Alex Vrânceanu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Alex Vrânceanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Alex Vrânceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Ţintă in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Ţintă in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scorpions -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Tinu in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dan Tinu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fabian Mihuț hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Ţintă got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Ţintă in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dan Tinu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Tinu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Scorpions -MM-'s Augustin Vergulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Mihuț made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Traian Uzuneanu. Costel Ţintă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Ţintă came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Mihuț kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Octav Vătăşel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpions -MM- the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Uzuneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Costel Ţintă struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpions -MM-.
