After a rather tough play, Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute of the match Mario gool got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Larsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Mosiniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario gool were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Larsson took the corner. Mario gool's Hugo Larsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Mykyta Yaremenko fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mario gool's protests and gave Mykyta Yaremenko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Mario gool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mykyta Yaremenko to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Oryniak in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kryspin Oryniak went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leon Mosiniak firmly grabbed it by the left post. 81 minutes into the game, Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mario gool's Ulryk Biraga was substituted for Mykyta Yaremenko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Leon Mosiniak in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Oryniak in the 89th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute Kryspin Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
