Yuan Lei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Evarado in the 35th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half USA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Büssinger in the 52nd minute of play. Yuan Lei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 71st minute of the match. Monty Rogers made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing managed to reach the ball for a save. 76 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pietro came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuan Lei Jing made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Evarado in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pietro came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Evarado in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. A nice corner shot did that Björn Lachenicht got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freestylers were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Lachenicht took the corner. The corner led Freestylers's Björn Lachenicht to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Freestylers from getting a goal against them. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
