Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the CD Municipal defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Forsyth. The CD Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Forsyth should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Enrique Cassaretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 35th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Lucas Huidobro with Mosen Colillas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. George Forsyth came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented George Forsyth managed to make a qualified save. CD Municipal's players were relieved. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 59th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD Municipal made a substitution. Tulio Andinyach replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's George Forsyth threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. George Forsyth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Forsyth. That made the score 2-4 after 95 minutes of play. Peru played a much better game than CD Municipal and deserved their victory. The CD Municipal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
