Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 16th minute. The corner ended in Alonso Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Canteranos Fc's Erubiel Cambranes did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson Pombal got free with Rolando Noboa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canteranos Fc's goalkeeper Erubiel Cambranes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binjamin Specht in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Cambranes saved Canteranos Fc from getting behind. After 29 minutes Canteranos Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Cambranes. Canteranos Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Cambranes. Erubiel Cambranes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Erubiel Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Cambranes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. The Canteranos Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Pombal to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Cambranes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Canteranos Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Prats came free, but Erubiel Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piet Goemyne in the 67th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canteranos Fc's Erubiel Cambranes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Canteranos Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erubiel Cambranes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Cambranes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
