Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cosme Cordarryl hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 29th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Echegoyen was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Momentum FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Echegoyen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tor Echegoyen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonatan Haritzeder's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Haritzeder helped the player get up and apologised. Momentum FC made a substitution. Kai Brüggemann replaced Marcelo Pello. After 74 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Haritzeder. Lautaro Mancebo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vincent Abubakar struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. 84 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Echegoyen. Momentum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 90th minute, Gustavo Schelokov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Momentum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Auzqui came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 96th minute of play. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Momentum FC had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
