Club Brugge's Thommy Toeback was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamdi Abdul Qadir in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Yanick De Winter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thommy Toeback in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thommy Toeback didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demonde Jacobson was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Yanick De Winter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yanick De Winter really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carel de Pelsmakere. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamdi Abdul Qadir in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn Gyselinx in the 43rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdi Abdul Qadir got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Goffrey Bastin took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finlay Stair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yanick De Winter went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 60 minutes of play, Club Brugge's Hamdi Abdul Qadir made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the game, Bjorn Gyselinx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. Bjorn Gyselinx hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Hamdi Abdul Qadir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamdi Abdul Qadir in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanick De Winter in the 68th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goffrey Bastin in the 69th minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanick De Winter in the 70th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdi Abdul Qadir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn Gyselinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Club Brugge's Yanick De Winter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carel de Pelsmakere went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Carel de Pelsmakere took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 91 minutes into the game, Club Brugge's Hamdi Abdul Qadir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Goffrey Bastin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Brugge fully deserved thier win.
