Cumali Neşat might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cumali Neşat ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Cumali Neşat tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play forced A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goalkeeper Bora Hazer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Cumali Neşat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bora Hazer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cumali Neşat managed to get in a good position for a shot. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cumali Neşat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cumali Neşat in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play forced A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goalkeeper Bora Hazer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bora Hazer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bora Hazer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakabey Temizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Bora Hazer. Bora Hazer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Ergincan Özdal. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mexico booed when A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babacar Amokachi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Bora Hazer got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bora Hazer was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goalkeeper Bora Hazer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Cumali Neşat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cumali Neşat struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK. With a little luck, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Bora Hazer got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Beila's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Beila helped the player get up and apologised. German Beila hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
