A collision led to San Siro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Babbis Tsochos hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nektarios Roumeliotis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Konstantinos Farmakatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgos Lagos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stamatis Nassiakos, made in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, San Siro's Giorgos Lagos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 42nd minute of the match Xavier Zoido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nektarios Roumeliotis skillfully saved the ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Voutsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.
After having played for 55 minutes, Babbis Tsochos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nikitas Brizolakos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Stavros Voutsas put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 86th minute, Stavros Voutsas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Nektarios Roumeliotis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Primitivo Escribano. If Stamatis Nassiakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babbis Tsochos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When San Siro's Giorgos Lagos in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Siro had won after a very even match.
