Tor Echegoyen was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 21st minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Furlan in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Momentum FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Momentum FC's Vincent Abubakar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Cassius Byrne made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen managed to reach the ball for a save. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
