Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Astor Barbosa. 14 minutes into the game, Lun Luna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howling Dawn U18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the game Guaberto Gilesindo made a throw-in which Mercurio Mercurio played forward. After 25 minutes of play, Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 31 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the game, Lun Luna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Lun Luna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Gilesindo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Astor Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Barbosa couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lun Luna in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Barbosa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Howling Dawn U18 were awarded a corner. Mercurio Mercurio went to the cornerflag to take it. Mercurio Mercurio made a great header on Howling Dawn U18's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Astor Barbosa scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Enzo Shantala to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Astor Barbosa got a free kick in the 69th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Mercurio Mercurio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mercurio Mercurio hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Baldomiro Jerrald. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Jerrald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Guaberto Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Howling Dawn U18.
