Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Vandalino's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Octav Alexa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Agustín Saelices to score against Octav Alexa in Vandalino's goal. 0-1 after 6 minutes. After 11 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Alexa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Attilio Sanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Attilio Sanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Alexa having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Sanna in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Alexa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of the match. Octav Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Sanna got free with Julio Vera in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Vandalino's Dario Uguccioni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octav Alexa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Octav Alexa. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Alexa. Octav Alexa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Vandalino made a substitution. Biagio Caniglia replaced Emilio Moriggi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Sanna made a kick off. Felice Piermattei's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felice Piermattei helped the player get up and apologised. Felice Piermattei kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Vandalino got a freekick which was hit by Bruno De Marchi. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Octav Alexa to make any attempt to save it. Octav Alexa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Dario Uguccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Alexa having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octav Alexa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Vandalino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Octav Alexa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octav Alexa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita suffered a concussion after 89 minutes and had to leave the field. After 90 minutes, Davide De Michele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vandalino and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Vandalino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide De Michele to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vandalino's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Alexa came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attilio Sanna during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vandalino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Sanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than Vandalino and deserved their victory. The Vandalino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
