Ferruccio Terrasi was slow to take the kick. During this time Vandalino's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th match minute, Vandalino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Gargano to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Vandalino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide De Michele to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vandalino booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Davide De Michele's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davide De Michele helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vandalino's Davide De Michele got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferruccio Terrasi. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Attilio Sanna sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Sanna in the 41st minute of the match. Ferruccio Terrasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Vandalino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Attilio Sanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Dario Uguccioni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vandalino's Biagio Caniglia was substituted for Emilio Moriggi. Vandalino made a substitution. Alvise Tellini replaced Fulvio Gargano.

The corner ended in Biagio Caniglia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Octav Alexa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Uguccioni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio Sanna went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Uguccioni in the 71st minute of play. Felice Piermattei hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Octav Alexa but with some difficulty. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Sanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Attilio Sanna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Alvise Tellini kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Attilio Sanna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Attilio Sanna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vandalino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vandalino.
