Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 10th match minute, Lex Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Arzola to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomáš Houdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Paco Arzola hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomáš Houdek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Miloslav Krupička hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomáš Houdek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lex Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomáš Houdek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomáš Houdek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otmar Schovánek made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Tomáš Houdek in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Lex Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Joaquin Prats got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 60 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Lex Academy's Leo Štengl was substituted for Radomir Wyrostek. After 73 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomáš Houdek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Houdek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Lex Academy's Genaro Serapio. But to his dismay, Genaro Serapio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 86th minute of play. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
