Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 魏延 in the 4th minute of play. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Chivu having to interfere. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Cînu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Baniu in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grigore Chivu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The attack was good, but when Dé 魏延 in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Grigore Chivu made a huge save. Grigore Chivu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé 魏延, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Grigore Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the game, Stelian Robu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RomanianPower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 51 played minutes RomanianPower got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Robu. In the 52nd minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Chivu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Chivu. Grigore Chivu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. RomanianPower's Nae Onitiu was substituted for Gavril Gherghescu. In the 60th minute Dé 魏延 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after RomanianPower's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Horaţiu Cînu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Cînu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Horaţiu Cînu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
