Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stef Vallejos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute, Sami Khedira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38th play minutes Julian Murillo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Stef Vallejos and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, E➣ PINCHARRATA's Stef Vallejos got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Corvin Maier in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Jian Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the E➣ PINCHARRATA defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stef Vallejos. The E➣ PINCHARRATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stef Vallejos should have stopped the shot. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution.
