Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Howling Dawn U18's Astor Barbosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. Enzo Shantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Enzo Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. When Mexico's Facundo Cadaval in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Howling Dawn U18's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Shantala. Howling Dawn U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Enzo Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 45 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Mercurio Mercurio. In the 47th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Egoitz to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Lun Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Shantala having to interfere. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hernan Azibar hit a great ball. Enzo Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aristides Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Enzo Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Teofilo Oriol got a free kick in the 66th minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Enzo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lun Luna came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mercurio Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. Howling Dawn U18's Baldomiro Jerrald was substituted for Lun Luna. The supporters of Mexico booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mercurio Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 83rd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Baldomiro Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howling Dawn U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo Shantala came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Jerrald in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Baldomiro Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Howling Dawn U18 throughout the match.
