Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anastasios Machlas made the kick off which started today's match. Tristan Franquis made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasios Machlas in the 14th minute of play. Amar Bouziane might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amar Bouziane ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute of the match Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feng Chuan Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Machlas in the 23rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Rainerio came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tristan Franquis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
