Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vandalino's Attilio Sanna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 2nd minute of play. 2 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octav Alexa. Vandalino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Vandalino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Sanna in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Attilio Sanna sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 18 minutes into the game, Fulvio Gargano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Attilio Sanna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes of play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octav Alexa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

After 57 played minutes Vandalino got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Caniglia. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Attilio Sanna sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 73rd minute Dario Uguccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Uguccioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Sanna came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Sanna scored 6-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Vandalino getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Biagio Caniglia hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Sanna in the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Sanna came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Sanna's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Alexa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Vandalino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
