The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 陆挺洋 was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when 顾青坚 sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Panama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
