Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Miguel Van Mechelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Miguel Van Mechelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Miguel Van Mechelen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Van Mechelen to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, one of Paraguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paraguay. Jacobo Nores had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Adolphe De Maerschalckx's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Adolphe De Maerschalckx scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Van Mechelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries Mangelschot, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Van Mechelen in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Stanny Van Wontergem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Van Mechelen in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Van Mechelen in the 30th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Stanny Van Wontergem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Miguel Van Mechelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Miguel Van Mechelen took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half YR Mechelen were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Miguel Van Mechelen made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Van Mechelen made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andries Mangelschot immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Andries Mangelschot managed to get in a good position for a shot. YR Mechelen's supporters rose to their feet, but Andries Mangelschot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Van Mechelen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Stanny Van Wontergem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Van Mechelen in the 63rd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Van Mechelen came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Miguel Van Mechelen. But to his dismay, Miguel Van Mechelen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Juan Diego Tenorio fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Juan Diego Tenorio a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Diego Tenorio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Juan Diego Tenorio off the ground. In the 84th minute, Juan Diego Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Pino Van Mechelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR Mechelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Pino Van Mechelen hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Miguel Van Mechelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
