FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Artur Kostrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play. Artur Kostrzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Kostrzewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Wejta in the 41st minute of the match. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of play forced FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's goalkeeper Artur Kostrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Tokarczyk in the 71st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Peru's Artur Kostrzewski threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
