With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Batıray Orus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Dalibor Rajšić threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Silvio Kramarić managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Ribar Rab's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Kramarić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Kramarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Krile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, NK Ribar Rab's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Ivan Krile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carter Como's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 32 played minutes NK Ribar Rab got a freekick which was hit by Dragan Šagarjelo. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes Edmundo Espiga shot a great shot from long distance. NK Ribar Rab's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Krile was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Christian Sancho made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NK Ribar Rab's Donat Janeš. After having played for 64 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Kramarić in the 67th minute of play. Sebastian Villa's late challenge caught a NK Ribar Rab's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Villa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. NK Ribar Rab made a substitution. Frano Jandrečić replaced Miodrag Gvozdić. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Donat Janeš hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Milagros Cabal in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NK Ribar Rab's Frano Jandrečić. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Honduras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
