In the 16th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Damian Lerych might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Lerych ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Paraibano came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Sportkarelclub FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Marcelo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Florencio Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Sportkarelclub FC's Damian Lerych fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Lerych was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Garcia made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Florencio Mouricio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 92nd minute of play forced Sportkarelclub FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Florencio Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportkarelclub FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
