Jonathan Alphonse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helge Emander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helge Emander came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Alphonse slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 17th minute. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Emander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hugo Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divide et impera's protests and gave Hugo Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Divide et impera getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hugo Carlsson hit a great ball. Alfons Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Divide et impera got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Forsberg. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leo Bäckman in the 32 minute of the game. Hugo Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Albäck in the 41st minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Saint Jean Pierre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divide et impera the free kick. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Albäck to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Måns Ekrot got free with Noel Seide in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Kennet Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Seide stood somewhat misplaced when Kennet Albäck came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 56 minute. When Jonathan Alphonse fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jonathan Alphonse a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Carlsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Ernso Constant. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Albäck in the 64th minute of the match. In the last second Noel Seide throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kennet Albäck in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 70 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Alphonse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfons Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Divide et impera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Nyman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Haiti booed when Divide et impera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Hääger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haiti's attentive Jean Marie Alcius managed to snatch the ball when Aaron Forsberg made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Divide et impera's goalkeeper Helge Emander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Måns Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Hääger charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Hääger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, one of Divide et impera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Divide et impera. Divide et impera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
