Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patrick Linares got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Jurgi having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anibal Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Patrick Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anibal Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Linares in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by PLUMAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PLUMAS booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Erasmo Mogel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Erasmo Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLUMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Mogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Anibal Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, PLUMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Anibal Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Jon's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Jon helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in PLUMAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Anibal Jurgi had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 61 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi. Anibal Jurgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingo Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Bartolo Berart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLUMAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Anibal Jurgi was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Berart in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. With a little luck, PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, PLUMAS's goalkeeper Anibal Jurgi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Jurgi having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Jurgi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
