Christos Triantis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 22nd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Amfithea Hotspur booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantinos Psiloglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When Konstantinos Psiloglou came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Amfithea Hotspur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantinos Psiloglou couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 34th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marinos Valassakos in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Konstantinos Psiloglou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 41st minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Marinos Valassakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantinos Psiloglou got free with Jacobo Nores in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Triantis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantinos Psiloglou made a kick off. With a little luck, Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis got control of the ball when Hector Covarrubias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 minutes, Konstantinos Psiloglou made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Valassakos in the 61st minute of play. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marinos Valassakos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 69th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Amfithea Hotspur's Charilaos Dimitrakis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantinos Psiloglou's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 77 minutes in the game, Konstantinos Psiloglou dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 79th minute Konstantinos Psiloglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Triantis made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Markos Miroforidis. When Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantinos Psiloglou's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Amfithea Hotspur had won after a very even match.
